I was happily perusing All Saints online a few days ago and spotted this piece by accident! It immediately went into my shopping basket and hasn't been seen off my hand since!
It has a daring yet strangely cute appeal?! With a marble stone centrepiece and sort of "iron wrought" stamping effect stating "All Saints Spitalfields" - my mind was drinking the textures and tones in..

I also had to share this picture below, I found in on a streetstyle blog and it is the same Vespa I own! Except mine is white (blanco) with black leather. I must do some shoots on it..!!

Despite my horrendously long absence, I have still been obsessed as ever with fashion! There wasn't a particular reason for my blog demise, although I feel now is the time to start shooting again! A conscious effort will be made as I miss it awfully :(
Onto happier notes I recently went to a wedding in Glasgow and had an image in mind of what I wanted to wear. Keywords: silk,flowing,sheer,long,silhouette.
Ironically I fell for a Ted Baker Maxi Dress, Ray Kelvin (CEO of Ted Baker) opened his first shirt shop in Glasgow in 1988! It was rather a good choice in hindsight..

I first saw the Topshop bag online and had to have it, the bag sold out online so I had to go to a big store and find it this week. I wore it with a summer - ish look today but it is my winter staple bag.
I woke up today over tired and thinking I had work, but I didn't! Went shopping and hubby bought me a pair of Ugg Argyle boots in black! We then took the dogs walking over the fields and I'm back now wearing my Lush facemask and ready for a shower!
So much is happening in my life at the minute, I'm at a University Open Day tomorrow all day. I'm applying for jobs as a healthcare Assistant in residential homes & starting my induction for hospital volunteer on Tuesday. Start of September is college enrollment,inductions and driving test! It's ridiculous! So I haven't had time to post lately. I enjoy being a busy person though!

Mac Myth Lipstick - this is amazing. A pink nude colour but it turns heads! (Cheaper Dupe: GOSH Darling)

I also recently bought Estee Lauder Double Wear Light and it's a lovely foundation. I recommend it for a flawless yet lightweight finish, it lasts around 15 hours if needs be!

I love white shirts and own none. This I found today and love it. A perfect Sunday shirt dress. This is going into my casual wardrobe section!

I'm currently selling my Nikon D60 on Ebay, in favour of a cheaper/compact camera. I purchased a Fujifilm finepix f60 fd today. I've saved over £200 on that so I'm pleased. the other dslr was too bulky and heavy to carry around and way to expensive! I constantly cradled it like a baby because I am a person that drops numerous electrical gadgets. I'm on my fourth iPhone and second laptop. I tend to buy gadgets and sell them on. I've had three cameras now. I don't know what is wrong with me! I feel my needs are constantly changing, I'll favour speed, detail and quality one day but simplicity and price the next. I don't know what I want!

Otherwise I'm preparing for back to college, this includes driving! I am practising like mad and have to pass before college. I'm not relying on any public transport! I'm booking my test at the beginning of September eek.

Back into education is something I never thought I would do. I'm a hard working girl in business but with the recession it doesn't really offer a full time job. I hope to immigrate to Canada in 10 years and to me a good career is necessary. I've decided to study Midwifery and I start college in September. All very new and scary. I also need to pass my driving test which I got onto doing today. I have to re pass my theory test after it expired! I need to make a "to do" list in honesty.

This outfit was for the cinema to see Harry Potter (very casual).
I enjoyed the fact there wasn't a huge climax with lots of fighting at the end. It was almost eerie throughout the film. I was always scared of Bellatrix Lestrange in the book but Helena Bonham carter made her so eccentric and crazy! I loved her! I think I felt the same sense as her character on Sweeney Todd. Brilliant woman! I do separate the books and the films though, there is a lot "cut" out of the films so it doesn't seem the same plot line.

Hope everyone is okay, hello new followers (very exciting!), I just bought some new shoes from Topshop which are arriving tomorrow. I love them too much already! Otherwise I fell out of love with the thigh highs. They weren't tight enough on the leg. I want tight suede! lol

I have been seriously swooning over the new Topshop collection, especially Horror Girls. This collection is inspired by Japanese girls I believe and it's amazing: see here.
This outfit was inspired by the collection, which features multiple textures and some very risque items i.e. stockings. Opinions on stockings please? I think depending on who wears them they can look sophisticated or tacky. I also feel the venue is important to consider. You wouldn't wear them off to the cinema on seeing Harry Potter lol

I feel sad that I haven't posted for so long, I just haven't been dressing up at all. Even weekends have been spent dog walking,cleaning,working. No excitement in my life apart from the Topshop collection ;) and to be honest it seems I just haven't been going out?! A lot of personal life shifting has been taking place so saving is on the agenda until the waters settle!

I'd like to "officially" thank Haute World (upon hyperlinking I see she has a new post! *Overexcited typing ensues*) for my award and the fact that everyone should go and read this amazing blog! It is actually my favourite blog of all time and isn't about outfit posts *shockhorror*. I really felt over excited when I first read through it because I love reading factual information & I love fashion. This blog combines the two in between regularly travelling around the world (as you do)!

So I'm off now to wallow in guilt at less posting (which will change) and to think some more about those Topshop Thigh High Suede boots from the Marianne Collection.
They will be mine!

Also to mention a quick thank you for stopping by, I still love read all comments and do visit blogs even if I don't comment myself. A lot of the time a puppy needs attention or Chris asks if I'll make him a cup of tea causing me huge distractions!

This was another terribly casual outfit on a summers day, we have such violent changing seasons in England it begs to be suitably dressed! In summer I just find it hard to wear black winter style clothing and it all literally gets shelved until Autumn. This is because by the time it starts warming up (April) here I'm sick of all my tights until next time! Then in September I'm usually sick of all my summer florals once again!

I need a remote for my camera so I can do some ultimately posed shots of what I'm wearing! Obviously I get Chris to take my pictures and he is brilliant but I think I'd like to try a sort of portfolio styling almost like Polaroids. I'll get onto this!

Otherwise I was asked what my job was and it's a long story.. I work for my family and for myself, we run a building/interior design company which has two sides one glamorous and one not so! I have also just launched my own website which sells lingerie amongst other things ;). A lot of my time goes to working with my family though, it's a demanding job!

This floral dress was the one to have last summer, it was coveted because the label Lipsy came out with the most original/feminine designs. It still carries me through the year even in winter with cardigan and tights! Although it does emphasise what miniature cleavage I have, as they say must make the best of what we have hehe so I still love it!

Me and Chris aka boyfriend ;) took Calvin aka fat doggy to a local lake for swimming. That is dog swimming along with tennis ball, we had a great time throwing the ball out and watching the little swimmer speed off to get it!

One of my birthday presents off my best friend was this All Saints Bandeau dress I'm wearing, I was truly delighted and surprised when I ripped open the wrapping! Next is the All Saints Bleeding rose vest, which I love but don't wear often?! Strangely although it's a white vest top it does not pair with anything and is actually a very particular item.. I think due to the shape? It bunches up with jeans and is a bit too long to be worn with hotpants..

It's my birthday tomorrow and Fathers Day (plus my dads birthday was on Tuesday) so we are off to see Transformers tonight and have a meal in celebration. This outfit is smart but alludes casualness due to the shapes. Very slouchy. I love the weekend because I get to play with make up and clothing! Puppy Molly is fine, my older staffy Calvin is getting on with her better everyday and learning how to tell her off when she nips him on the tail!

I found an amazing checked shirt by Topshop but got it on ebay for £9 and one pair of white skinny jeans came back in stock from All Saints, I nabbed them but was later refunded no explanation so I have to presume someone else got them online before me? Not happy!

So far I've bought Purple Rite lipstick from the new Mac style warriors collection and I was wearing it here with Mac plum lip liner. I want to get more items from the collection like the lustre drops and bronzers. Otherwise I wore Mac shadestick in Beijing as a base, Mac Rule (orange), Sushi Flower (pink) and Sweet Chestnut (deep purple) on my eyes.

I haven't been posting enough outfits, this is simply due to me really living in tracksuits! With a young puppy you can't really go anywhere, and she isn't vaccinated fully so I really cannot go anywhere (unless she is carried around for socializing!)

I really just went upstairs and rummaged for something that was scruffy but with attitude. I found the socks/leggings combo really cool and I love my new hair which I had done last Friday (before puppy)!

Today has been a tough one, I was supposed to be picking up my puppy Lily tomorrow morning but she and all of her siblings were taken ill last night. Currently at the vets and on a drip Lily is stable this evening but one of her sisters has passed away. Lily is the strongest in the litter and the breeder is hopeful of her survival. This news has dominated my day, I went through classic stages of shock, grief, anger, back to grief, then forgiveness. I just hope she recovers and I still get to meet/love her.

Hope everyone has had a happier day than me! I am at the hairdressers tomorrow, the roots aren't looking too good ;). I love this mustard cardigan colour, I originally thought it was a very winter shade, but after wearing it in summer the shade actually perks up somewhat.

I've been photographing lots of outfit posts in my little old suburban street because it's always just before I go out! There is massive interest from the public if it's done in busy areas for some reason?! I get beeped at from cars and other really weird experiences.. does anyone else get this lol?! People really want to know what we're up to!

Otherwise I went to diagnose my iPhone at Apple last night, and all it needed was resetting, I didn't feel very clever at this point. When I asked what was wrong the Apple "technician" said something got stuck. All very complicated... or not! Otherwise the update that comes out on June 17th looks pretty amazing featuring copy & paste, mms and being able to use the iPhone as a modem for your laptop or Mac .. Pretty good stuff!

Firstly, thank-you to all my comments and new subscribers, this all becomes more and more exciting each day for me!
My best friend has lots of nice clothes in her wardrobe but isn't sure how to wear them and she has given me this amongst others to play with. To be honest I would just wear it with black hot pants and heels as it does all the talking alone! Otherwise black skinnies/leather bomber jacket would be rocking too.. I love the sheer back and how the material blows and plays on a gust of wind.

Meanwhile I'll probably be testing out the borrowed clothing pile later on!

On my eyes I wore Mac Shroom and Urban Decay Peversion to smoke it. I'll usually wear a light colour then on an evening when going out I'll add dark all the way to my inner brow. I like the fierce look!

The lady over at ExtraSkinny recommended I pair my new knitted dress with a slip of some sort and my reaction was "Why didn't I think of that?!" Followed by "Thank God XS did"! Then I got excited because as much as clashing can sometimes go awry I tend to just not care. I like bold and I think fashion as a form of expressing oneself should also be expressing ones daring side. After all, you can just take the clothes off again! That granted I absolutely loved the outfit I discovered and wanted to wear it out straight away..

The weather has been temperamental, half an hour before the glorious sunshine a large downpour including thunder occurred. This inspired my title and pictures, it was clear the weather wanted to be noticed today and like me played around with the light.

Only wearing black smudged eye liner, my face wasn't made up. To be honest I don't wear make up during the week, I give my skin a rest. (It doesn't bode well for pictures though!)

I thought I would add a bit about make up, I don't tend to match it with my outfit but I like colours at the minute. Especially turquoise which I'm wearing today with brown in the crease. I use Mac a lot, but today I wore colours from my Coastal Scents 88 palette. I don't know if I'll do an all make up post but I like the idea of having a face close up etc to show the colours I'm wearing.

Found this dress in the Topshop "Buy it now" section, it was 33% off due to a hole in the arm but i sewed it up and now you wouldn't know! I got a real bargain. Its sheer knitwear which I fell in love with, it looks good with coral coloured lingerie but really you wouldn't wear any at all. I still haven't decided if either or both is trashy or it doesn't really matter?! Otherwise the weather has been awful so I have been hiding away inside wearing tracksuits or rain macs for my dog walking!
Oh and no I'm not wearing make up hehe

I saw some angel dresses in the "Christmas" sale but they were dark blue and an off sand colour. I didn't like them enough to buy so I got home that day and looked on ebay hoping to find a gem. Low and behold I actually did! I saw this a day later, beautiful Azure in hue and perfect condition. It is actually from summer 2007 but it's one of my favourite wardrobe items. Also the fact that it's quite original and old enough that no one else will (hopefully) be wearing it!

I found a local sushi place tonight and stuffed myself silly on it! I love sushi so so much.. except when I'm out shopping I eat so much of it that I tend to waddle around.. not good for the image hehe

These were bought for me by Chris after I fell in love (not lust). They are a great shape! I still can't decide what my favorite style of jewellery is though. Rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces?! I feel lost because I don't have a place on my body I like to decorate most with jewels!

I went to see Star Trek & I must say I loved it! It had me gripped the whole way through because of the impeccably chosen characters and the journey it took me on.

Onto the outfit, this is a dress I found in the sale rack at Topshop for £12! The only decent thing left but still there because of it's small size lol. I always tend to dig around on the floor aswell, I know it sounds deranged but some good items get knocked onto the floor behind the racks! So I now wonder if this is my perfect little black dress.. it is the only one I own so really it doesn't have any competition!

Chris gave me his leather jacket to wear because I was freezing after the cinema..... if it wasn't so big I'd steal it!

Summer itself is such a contrast to winter & my wardrobe reflects this perfectly. I tend to wear black and purple the duller the days but as soon as the sun hits I'm out in multiple floral outfits! Then I take note of how girly I am.

One thing I don't do is neat hair, I hate coming back from the hairdressers with straightened and teased tresses! I love my scruffy buns & braids!

I made this dress casual with a white t (again rebelling against prim or proper).

I had real fun doing this today, we went road tripping to visit Chris's parents and this was a local bridge. It used to be a railway track until a train collapsed the bridge and fell into the river with it. Now it is a public foot path with lots of fun textures to shoot.

Topshop Cropped Sweater, Topshop trousers, Topshop shoes, River Island bag.

Posts like this make me realise how much I shop at Topshop, until starting this blog I didn't realise but this summer they have done so well with styling! The sweater was sold out in my size so I had to go bigger due to my impatience on having it. I usually stop myself doing it though as I'd end up with a wardrobe full of mismatched sizing!

I also got my hair done today, blond highlights & I wanted to catch the sun on a road I very much like..

I was inspired by Vogue who did a piece on denim with hair tied on the head. I tried it out anyway & it's surprisingly comfy/wearable. I think it is my "summer" hair now, I'll be adding head scarfs and plaits to it for boho appeal.

I wasn't sure about posting Ugg boots so early on in the blogging game, but then i came to the conclusion it is my style and i very much enjoy my Uggs! This pair are one of 3 others and I still can't get enough of a good pair. I know a lot of people hate them, love them or just don't think much of them at all (as in have a low opinion). They have been stereotyped a lot but I like to think i can wear them and stay in my own category as an individual. I'd like to know what you think anyway!

I saw a shot of Anja Rubik wearing leggings with side slit detail. They were tagged as Wolford. I searched high and low through Wolford management and they concluded diy. I don't do diy (because I'm bad at it) and i gave up searching. Then i saw these leggings! At first I was unsure they would cut the mustard but after trying them on I fell in love!

Mr inspiration for red lipstick came back after seeing the shoot for Wildfox Couture's range, I used to wear it a lot and i think i'll be back onto red lippie for a while now!

I went shopping today and the weather was beautiful, I headed straight for Topshop and found a multitude of things i loved and will be wearing soon! It was early and empty and the girls were really helpful (assistants in Trafford Topshop!).. I was looking for a few specific items, and one was the vintage bra below, it also comes in pink (as in my earlier post) which i thought i would prefer. It seems i was drawn to white though.

My favourite is the top picture(s).. stunning light and the colour of her skin is amazing.

I also discovered the label Wildfox Couture from Knightcat, and i must say i fell in love! I can find it stocked in the uk just not the jumper i want, and usa shipping is a lot of money so i can't get anything at the minute :( but I'm inspired to wear my red lipstick from this shoot!

All Saints Harem Pants, River Island vest top, Gap Cardigan.

When i first spotted these harem pants i fell in love instantly. They were the first thing i ever bought from All Saints about two years ago. I've had respect for them ever since & they are my summer staple with flip flops! I have never dressed them up..

The cardigan is the only Gap item i own (first seen in Glamour magazine), and i'm pretty sure it's the most colourful product they've ever released?! I tend to walk in there regularly and everything is white or beige washed.. i still hope to find a one off like this though!

It isn't quite summer here, only because it is raining outside. So i felt it didn't quite warrant a full on summer outfit... but i feel it ended up as one anyway.

I decided to create a contrast (with black) against the pink so it stood out.

The Topshop body is mesh and my Topshop shoe boots velvet. I love mixing textures to create interest, i could never have a wardrobe full of cotton!

i couldn't find an affordable/good enough outfit to a wedding in April. It seems everything was just too "pretty" and i either had to compromise on price (it being too expensive) or the look (it being cheaply made). You can't wear black or white to a wedding, and quite frankly if you stick out too much you could upset/detract attention from the bride, brides mother, bridesmaids. It isn't worth thinking about especially as it isn't exactly my special day... I tried to find a dress that would also be wearable afterwards in general summertime aswell as just this one day. I found two outfits...

I love the colour of this dress, i love the texture also. It is on my wishlist, but i thought for a one day event (that isn't going to be focused on me anyway) i shouldn't be spending all that money ;)

Love Label (Littlewoods) print mini dress

This dress caught my eye as a lovely spring/summer outfit that i could use to show off accessories such as bright gold wedges. I decided to get this dress for the wedding. It isn't too showy or expensive and will carry me through lazy days in hot summer with flip flops (swoon)!
Really it's just so damn pretty-and that fact in this particular won me over.
